The boxer Andoni Gago retains his national belt and Peio Bilbao wins the Tout de Beauce

The boxer from Bilbao, Andoni Gago, retained his title of featherweight champion of Spain after defeating Madrid's Sergio "Sugar" Romero in the tenth round. For his part, the cyclist, Peio Bilbao, was proclaimed overall winner of the event in Quebec.

The boxing match took place at the Pabellón La Casilla with a great atmosphere, a tough fight and with Gago taking the reins in his home town of Bilbao. Another victory for Andoni Gago, which certainly sees him knocking at the doors of Europe and enjoying a high point in his boxing career.

The cyclist Peio Bilbao, from Caja Rural, won the Tour de Beauce, a 2.2 category race held in Quebec. He was second in the last stage.
